About Tracy

Tracy is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is accredited with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP).   She studied and trained at the Universities of Sussex and Oxford and has worked within the NHS as a Psychology Researcher, an Occupational Therapist and a CBT Therapist for over 10 years.   She is registered with the Health Professions Council.

Tracy’s therapeutic approach is based on the Cognitive Behavioural model, and her knowledge and experience of other psychological theories further inform her work.  Tracy focuses on working with individuals and couples to identify and modify entrenched patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving to relieve distress and develop more helpful strategies for living and working.

Tracy maintains a keen interest in the practice and application of clinical supervision, and has attended several workshops to ensure her skills and experience remain grounded in the latest research evidence for the discipline.  Tracy supervises students and CBT clinicians in both independent practice and the NHS.  She also offers supervision to Occupational Therapy trainees and therapists in accordance with the good practice guidelines of the College of Occupational Therapists.
